* This material is waterproof as claimed by the manufacturer, but sewn-through seams and zips of the Rack Sack obviously are not. Though the bag is designed to minimize leakage, small amounts of water may get through seams and zips during prolonged or heavy rain. To maximize weather protection we recommend coating seams on the inside with a good quality tent-type seam sealer, available where ever outdoor recreation equipment is sold.
